About

Through my early years and into my adult life I have maintained an interest in creating, making and visually exploring. I can usually be found with a sketchbook in hand, collecting found items, artifacts and jotting down ideas. At times the ideas turn into more detailed endeavours and other times the thoughts just stay in my sketchbook for a revisit.
In my work, I find inspiration all around me. Sometimes I find it in the shape of something or how a certain item was designed. Other times it comes from daily conversations with friends and family, or from an experience. The most inspiration flows from the freedom to do the work I want. The freedom to design. That’s what I like.
I meet projects with a marketing approach, employing a rational, logical and pragmatic viewpoint when making work – crafting a clean design and removing any redundant elements. In this process, the subject determines the final outcome, with the work constantly influenced and directed by the given circumstances of any project’s content and context. Each project usually consists of multiple creative elements, often in a range of media, grouped around a specific theme.
